Baseboard cover info

Each cover is custom built to fit you baseboard heater with scaled down trim and simple, elegant details, all manufactured in house, making our covers some of the nicest available for very competative prices. Our covers are constructed out of solid hardwoods in many different wood species and painted finishes. We offer many different styles and trim options. If there is something that you dont see, just ask! Everything is custom built, so if your looking for a different wood species, custom trim details, unique configurations or anything else, we can likely accomodate your needs!

Our paint grade covers are finished with a 5 stage process, consisting of 2 coats of a high build, high quality primer, sanded and filled between coats. Our final finish is 3 coats of a high quality enamel paint. We spray our finishes with HVLP guns for a beutifully smooth finish. We can custom match most paint colors in either an enamel or water-borne lacquer, depending on the color. We take pride in our work and it shows in the final product!

Natural wood covers are finished in a clear water-borne lacquer, over a wax free shellac base coat (natural maple is finished with straight lacquer to preserve it's naturally light color), which gives the finish a nice rich, mid luster finish. All pieces are lightly polished with wax after they cure for a perfectly smooth finish.

Baseboard covers install right over your existing baseboard heaters. For best results, the front skins should be removed from the heaters. Tip!Using a little flat black paint on the remaining parts of the heater that are still visible through the new cover will make the heater seem to dissapear behind your cover. This is easilly achieved using a water based spray paint.
